Ponding
Ponding, as it is known in the industry, is a common issue with industrial or commercial buildings that have flat roofs and can cause major damage to your business. It is not unusual for there to be some standing water for a day or so after a downpour or after the snow melts. However, if the water remains after 48 hrs it can result in considerable damage to your decking as well as wearing down your roof or causing leaks and water damage.
